In the fourth quarter of 2024, the Maps and Navigation category on the Android platform in Australia saw notable trends across the top apps, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Uber - Request a ride experienced a consistent increase in weekly downloads, starting at around 10.9K and reaching approximately 15.3K by mid-November. Active users fluctuated, peaking at over 843K in early December before ending the quarter at roughly 742K.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic showed a gradual rise in downloads, culminating at 17.7K in late December. Active users similarly increased, from around 457K to over 520K by the end of the quarter.
